Executive Education - Leading Effective Change

To stay relevant, teams and organizations must continuously change and adapt to their ever evolving internal and external environments. This makes it imperative leaders understand and possess the skills to effectively lead change. Furthermore, it is also important that leaders know how to shape a learning culture to facilitate continuous adaptation and improvement. In todays global economy, organizations are continuously becoming more diverse. This broadening diversification of organization members includes cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, age, gender, and sexual orientation. Thus, it is imperative people managers understand how to effectively lead individuals who are different from them. Hylton Lecture: Kim McCaslin ('93)

The Hylton Lecture Series in Accountancy was established in 1980 to honor Delmar P. Hylton, who started Wake Forests accountancy program in 1949 and helped build it into one of the top accounting programs in the nation. This year's Hylton lecture will be presented by Kimberly McCaslin ('93), Partner and Head of the North America Portfolio Group at Bain Capital.

Associate Dean Jeff Camm awarded Kimball Medal

Jeff Camm, associate dean of business analytics, professor, and Inmar Chair in Business Analytics, received the Kimball Medal in Nashville on November 13. The recognition came at the annual meeting of INFORMS, the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences. The George E. Kimball Medal, first awarded in 1974, recognizes distinguished service to the Institute and to the profession. Recipients have been professionals from colleges and universities or organizations such as IBM, Verizon, and UPS.
