Alumna recognized by Essence Magazine

Dehavalyn (Dee) Black (MBA ’04) was recently recognized by Essence magazine. She was one of 20 women the magazine highlighted in its Window on Our Women study. The women took the stage at Ailey Studio in New York City where they demonstrated the breadth and scope of today’s African-American woman. The study revealed a rich tapestry of six unique profiles with common threads. The women helped raise awareness of who African-American woman are and what they aspire to be. Black, who is a finance manager for American Express in New York, is featured in a photograph in the March 2006 issue of Essence.
